There is a great new resource available at https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp Actual images of birth, death, and marriage records are available (for some records). These contain more information than what is in the index: for example, townland and informant (which often includes relationship).
Click “Civil Records” and enter your search terms. (You’ll have to enter your name on a permission sheet first.) Then when you get results, click on “image” to see the image. It will open as a PDF file, which you can save to your computer.
Happy Hunting!
