Ever since since could mean because, I don’t know what you mean

Similar to the previous entry: “since” refers to time. I have been up since seven this morning. If you want to start a sentence with a phrase that justifies what you do, use “because.”
Since I turned 18, I can vote. This could mean “Ever since I turned 18, I have been able to vote” or “Because I turned 18, I am able to vote.”
